Rachel Martinelli, AIA, is a licensed architect in the state of California working in Los Angeles. She holds a Master of Architecture Degree from the University of Southern California (2015) and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Ball State University (2013). Through her professional experiences, she has gained a great interest in how users with varying needs interact in architectural spaces and how design can enhance their experience. She is passionate about accessibility, emerging technologies, mentorship, and discussing issues relating to diversity and equity in the profession and the community. Rachel is greatly involved with Emerging Professionals, previously holding positions in the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Los Angeles chapter as the Director of Associate Membership and subsequently the Regional Associate Director on AIA California Board with a concurrent position on the AIA National Associates Committee and currently on the Programs Committee for Urban Land Institute Los Angeles Young Leaders Group.
